From green roofs to helipads, this 630,000 square foot medical facility houses state-of-the-art accommodations for heart, vascular, emergency, pediatric and surgical services. Site topography, geotechnical issues, and adjacencies to existing campus buildings required extensive coordination of foundation and earth retention systems as well as construction techniques. The complex was designed to accommodate significant future expansion, including an additional three floors on the north wing.
