John F. Kennedy Federal Building
Boston, Massachusetts

A landmark of modernist architecture, the minimalist exterior of this building displays stark functionality with its regular precast façade and curved corners allowing light to penetrate throughout the offices. The two towers are distinguished at the top by metal louvers and an exposed glass atrium connects them at the ground level. The building is flanked by large terraces, plazas, patios, and extensive landscaping creating a refuge for the building’s occupants.
