In this award-winning museum, seven modular bays create a unique space for the display of the largest collection of air and spacecraft in the world. The glass-faced bays showcase historic aircraft such as the Wright Flyer, Lindbergh's Spirit of St. Louis and the X-1, as well as the Apollo 11 Command Module. Five triangular tubular steel trusses at each glass bay allow for exhibits to be suspended and interchanged as desired.
