Boston Globe Features Transformation at Post Office Square
11.16.20 Sunday’s Arts section featured the transformation currently underway at the One Post Office Square office tower. Gensler and LeMessurier teamed on this dramatic repositioning project to bring new life to the 1980s tower for which LeMessurier also served as the original structural engineer. The current project includes replacement of the entire existing façade with new high-performance curtain wall as well as a 20-story horizontal expansion in the footprint of the existing parking garage. As seen in the Globe article, façade replacement is well underway and steel erection for the new addition will begin shortly. LeMessurier also worked with John Moriarty Associates to support the unique construction logistics necessary to best achieve JLL and Anchor Line’s project goals. LeMessurier is proud of our continued involvement on this Boston landmark of the past, present, and future!

11.03.20 Wellesley College recently celebrated the topping off of their new Science Center on November 2, 2020. The 213,000 square foot expansion and renovation of the existing science center, designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, will modernize the College's existing infrastructure by providing new offices, meeting areas, classrooms, a renovated vivarium, and new core research spaces, while preserving the original 1920's façade of Sage Hall. The new Science Center sits in the heart of Wellesley College's Science Hill and will link the existing observatory, greenhouse, arboretum, and botanic gardens.
