Chicago, Illinois
This multi-functional campus complex seeks to service the needs of students, as well as be respectful of the surrounding neighborhoods. To house over 800 students in a small city block, this project necessarily rises to 14 stories at its highest, but does so in an unassuming manner, edged with low roofs at the perimeter near surrounding buildings, and projecting to an apex nearer the middle of the complex. Clad in stone, these new campus buildings will remain timeless for years to come.
