Joining LeMessurier in 2026, Dat Ha brings a strong academic background in structural engineering to the firm. Originally from Vietnam, he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Bath (UK), followed by a Master’s degree in Structural Engineering from Northwestern University and a PhD from MIT. His doctoral research focused on developing innovative strategies to make structural topology optimization more accessible and efficient. Now starting his industry career as a Structural Designer at LeMessurier, Dat is excited to learn as much as he can about professional practice while bridging the gap between academia and industry to help advance the field.
