On Thursday, July 15th the U.S. General Services Administration held a groundbreaking ceremony to celebrate the beginning of construction on the Ashley U.S. Courthouse Modernization and Annex in Toledo, Ohio. The project includes a new 96,000-square-foot courthouse annex as well as a transformation of the existing Ashley Courthouse. LeMessurier has partnered with the Design Build project team of Whiting-Turner Contracting (Contractor), William Rawn Associates (Design Architect) and Bialosky Cleveland (Architect of Record). Attendees at the groundbreaking included U.S. District Court Judge Jeffrey Helmick, U.S. District Court Chief Judge Patricia Gaughan, U.S. Rep Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur, U.S. Rep. Congressman Bob Latta, and Toledo Mayor Wade Kapszukiewicz.
