Members of our Enclosure Group attended the 2025 Wagdy Anis Symposium on Building Science, hosted by the BSA’s Building Enclosure Council. The annual symposium brings together architects, engineers, and building scientists to explore emerging technologies, research, and best practices in the design of high-performance enclosures.
LeMessurier’s Stephen Holland, PE, a former chair of the Building Enclosure Council, moderated Session 2, which explored how digital tools, modeling, and emerging technologies are reshaping retrofit strategies for building enclosures. Stephen also proudly serves on the Wagdy Anis Symposium Planning Committee.
Throughout the day, we engaged with peers, shared insights, and learned from leaders advancing the practice of building science. Events like the Wagdy Anis Symposium provide valuable opportunities to reflect on our own work, gain new perspectives, and contribute to the broader conversation around sustainability and building performance.
We extend our thanks to the BSA and the Building Enclosure Council for organizing another insightful event and to all participants who continue to elevate the dialogue on high-performance design.
