It was just announced that the Boston University Center for Computing & Data Sciences received LEED Platinum certification. The building is a model for building design and sustainability and uses concrete with up to 70% portland cement replacement rates, the highest ever used in Boston for this type of application. The initial goal for this project was LEED Gold.
