Oct 5, 2023

Two buildings we structurally engineered for Dartmouth – the Class of 1982 Engineering and Computer Science Center and the Arthur L. Irving Institute for Energy and Society – won Merit Awards at the annual AIA New Hampshire Chapter Design Awards Gala.

HGA designed the Class of 1982 Engineering and Computer Science Center. The LEED Platinum Center houses special vibration-sensitive experimentation and imaging suites and was designed to accommodate VC-A for the elevated laboratory spaces and VC-D for the experimentation and imaging suites.

Goody Clancy designed the Arthur L. Irving Institute for Energy and Society. Anticipating LEED Platinum Certification, Irving hosts a variety of offices, laboratories, classrooms, and seminar spaces dedicated to furthering research and education on energy and creating a hub for interdisciplinary collaboration.
