Boston University’s Center for Computing & Data Sciences was a highlight at this spring’s Tradeline Conferences in Boston. On April 7, Nate Roy, along with Tyler Lowen of KPMB and Joshua Michaud of BR+A Consulting Engineers, conducted an in-depth tour of the facility for the Tradeline Research Facilities Conference. This engagement continued with the Tradeline University Science & Engineering Conference, where Nate Roy, Joshua Michaud, and Paulo Rocha of KPMB led another tour. In addition, they presented “Computing & Data Science: Vertically Integrated Research Neighborhoods in the All-electric Building,” offering detailed insights into the innovative aspects of the project.
Completed in December 2022, the Center is the University’s first LEED Platinum building, standing as a testament to forward-thinking educational and sustainable design. Attendees left with a deeper understanding of the project’s pioneering design techniques and its impact on the academic community.
