LeMessurier proudly announces that one of its stellar projects, the Christian Science Plaza, has secured a prestigious victory at the 34th Achievement Awards presented by the Boston Preservation Alliance. The awards ceremony, held last week, celebrated outstanding contributions to preserving and enhancing Boston’s architectural heritage.
This plaza is Boston’s largest privately-owned public space and was reimagined as a welcoming, relaxing, and minimalist space. The transformation focused on completely rebuilding the 700-foot-long reflecting pool basin by slightly shortening the pool to improve pedestrian flow in the plaza. The existing garage structure below the pool was evaluated and strengthened for increased loads.
