This week, Matt Peters, P.E., presented his work on The Hub on Causeway project to staff as part of LeMessurier’s continuing education program. He was involved in the design and special inspections of slabs, columns, and shear walls for the 33-story residential and eight-story hotel towers. LeMessurier served as the structural engineer of record and provided reinforcement inspection services in parallel with the third-party special inspector. Because of LeMessurier’s familiarity with the job, they identified priority items before the official inspection reports were released. This facilitated the speedy 1.5-floors-per-week slab placement schedule.
