Deerfield Academy Opens to Students
10.26.18 The Deerfield Academy Field House and Hockey Rink opened to student use this month. The building, designed with Sasaki, houses a hockey rink, field house, elevated running track, tennis court, crew tank as well as multipurpose rooms. To locate the building adjacent to the main athletic complex required an innovative solution of stacking the field house above the hockey rink. Check out this link for a video of the opening.

10.18.18 An article coauthored by Nathan Roy, titled Night Moves on Boylston was published in the October, 2018 issue of STRUCTURE. The article focusing on the construction process and shoring required for the transformation of the Boston Public Library Johnson Building with William Rawn Associates.
Walter C. Johnson Center for Health & Wellness at the Hackley School Named Best K-12 Project by Engineering News Record
10.10.18 Hackley School’s Walter C. Johnson Center for Health and Wellness was recently named best K12 education project by ENR New York. Combining various construction types including concrete flat slabs, pre-engineered metal buildings, slab on metal deck, and long span roof joists, the Johnson Center hosts a variety of functions for the school. LeMessurier worked closely with ARC to provide function as well as aesthetic in this five-building complex.
Ribbon Cutting at MIT.nano
10.09.18 On October 4th, MIT hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the highly anticipated nanotechnology laboratory on its campus. One of the biggest capital projects on the MIT campus in recent years, the 214,000 square-foot building boasts 2 levels of clean room spaces and 4 vibration-isolated imaging suites that will house equipment enabling the next generation of research and innovation at MIT. With a design and construction schedule of six years, this ceremony is the culmination of tremendous teamwork and collaboration.
Harvard Business School Celebrates Dedication of Klarman Hall
10.03.18 On October 1, 2018, Harvard Business School held a dedication and symposium for Klarman Hall, their new convening center. Designed by William Rawn Associates, Klarman Hall can be adapted for events for a few hundred people to 1000 people. The hall is suited for large-scale conferences as well as musical and artistic performances. Seth and Beth Klarman, Governor Charlie Baker, Nitin Nohria and Lawrence Bacow cut the ribbon to officially dedicate the building. This was followed by an afternoon symposium regarding democracy.
