Topping off of the Schiller Institute for Integrated Science and Society at Boston College
07.27.20 Boston College recently celebrated the topping off of the new Schiller Institute for Integrated Science and Society. The new 150,000 square-foot science facility designed with Payette will include research and teaching laboratories; computer science, robotics and data visualization spaces; classrooms, maker spaces, collaboration commons and a clean room. The building will also house the Computer Science Department and Edmund H. Shea Jr. Center for Entrepreneurship.
Construction of Anonymous Hall at Dartmouth College is Near Completion
07.17.20 Construction of Anonymous Hall – named for the institution’s significant anonymous donations – is near completion at Dartmouth College. Located in the heart of the College’s medical school campus, the former Dana Hall saw the transformation of a 1960s-era concrete flat slab structure as well as a 3,000 square-foot structural steel attached addition. Designed by Leers Weinzapfel Associates, the highly sustainable structure meets the requirements of LEED Silver Certifications by the U.S. Green Building Council.
