How to Save a Wall - Wellesley College Science Center
03.12.21 The new Wellesley College Science Center designed with Skidmore, Owings & Merrill required temporary support of the 1920’s Sage Hall brick masonry wall to make way for the new building while preserving the Focus, a campus favorite community space for gathering and collaboration. LeMessurier worked closely with SOM and Turner Construction on both the new building and temporary structure to execute the Façade-ectomy. Read more about the Sage Wall story here. .
