Boston Public Library in the Globe
07.28.16 The July 8, 2016 edition of the Boston Globe took considerable space to highlight that which is going well in the realm of public architecture in Boston. The article was timed to align with the opening of the re-envisioned Philip Johnson wing of the Boston Public Library . William Rawn Associates introduced transparency to the library, primarily along Boylston Street, and also implemented a "Big Urban Room" inside the new entrance sweeping visitors towards the historic McKim wing which faces Copley Square.
