140 the Fenway
LeMessurier was contracted by Northeastern University to conduct a comprehensive assessment of this historic building's facade system. The assessment included evaluation of the original turn-of-the-century stone masonry, 1960's precast stones, and associated window assemblies. Water infiltration issues in the basement prompted additional investigation and repair planning.
Facade Assessment: Our team utilized an aerial lift to conduct a hands-on evaluation of the building's exterior envelope, documenting conditions of both historic masonry and mid-century additions.
Water Infiltration Investigation: Comprehensive review of basement water intrusion issues led to the development of targeted repair solutions.
Repair Documentation: Based on our findings, we prepared detailed repair specifications and drawings to address identified deficiencies.
